Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 6, 2026

Celedus ("we", "us") builds a small suite of school & college apps. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short because we keep the data small.

What we collect

  • Account info: your email and authentication details, handled through Supabase.
  • App content: the plans, notes, and other data you create inside the apps.
  • Payment info: if you subscribe, billing is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Usage & analytics: aggregated visit data (via Vercel Analytics). We never sell personal data.

How we use it

  • To operate the apps, save your work, and keep you signed in.
  • To process subscriptions and prevent fraud.
  • To fix bugs and improve the product.

Why we use Google sign-in

You can sign in with Google so you do not need a separate password. When you do, we receive only your basic profile: your name, email address, and profile picture. We use these to create your account, show who is signed in, and sync your work across the Celedus apps. We never use Google data for advertising or sell it to anyone.

If you connect a second Google account, that account becomes another way to sign in to your Celedus account. Anyone who can access that Google account can access your Celedus account, so connect only accounts you control.

If you choose to connect Google Calendar, we also request access to your calendar events (calendar.events) and the list of your calendars (calendar.calendarlist.readonly), which lets us show your calendars so you can pick which ones to bring in. We use this only to create and update events for the schedule and plans you build inside Celedus, and to import the events you ask for, so your work stays in sync with your own calendar. We only edit events Celedus created, never events that were already on your calendar, and never events on a calendar someone else shared with you. Imported events become part of your planner, so they are saved to your Celedus account and synced across your devices like the rest of your work.

For each calendar you choose whether to keep it in sync or copy it once. A copied calendar is read one time and never again. A calendar you keep in sync is re-read whenever you sync it. Either way we only read your calendar while you are using Celedus: we do not keep your Google access token after your session ends, so nothing of ours can reach your calendar once you close the app. That also means a Celedus reminder covers what is in your planner, not an event you added in Google since your last sync. No human at Celedus reads your calendar, and we never sell this data or advertise against it. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from your account settings, revoke our access from your Google account permissions page, and deleting your Celedus account deletes the imported events with it. Celedus's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Sharing

We share data only with the service providers that make Celedus work — Supabase (database & auth), Stripe (payments), and Vercel (hosting & analytics). We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

Your choices

You can view and edit your content inside the apps, and request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Removing your account removes your app content from our active systems.

Data retention & security

We keep your data as long as your account is active. Data is encrypted in transit, and access is limited to what's needed to run the service. No system is perfectly secure, but we aim to keep the footprint small.
